Desert Night: A Poem
Desert Night: A Poem
Howl of the jackal penetrating the darkness
The desert cold
where by day it sizzled with heat
In the day the sun is blinding
By night the stars hang as welcome lanterns
And the moon a beacon lighthouse for an ocean of sand.
